We're better together

At MedPro Group, we want to foster an environment where our employees can live their professional dreams and make a difference in an inclusive culture. We believe that being the best comes from building a team comprised of diverse individuals coming together for a common purpose. We brought that philosophy to life through our Inclusion and Engagement efforts: attracting and welcoming employees from all backgrounds; training and developing each team member to foster their success; and creating resource and mentoring groups (including Multicultural Inclusion, Pride, Connections, Military Families, Wellness, Women’s Network) that enable our employees to engage and support one another.

Employee Resource Groups

MedPro Group’s six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) provide a great way for employees to feel welcomed and to engage in a supportive, inclusive environment. At MedPro, we’re proud of the many ways we support employees in their career growth, and our ERGs are part of that commitment.

This ERG was established during COVID-19 to foster connections among employees while working virtually. Since then, the company has migrated back into the office while also maintaining a number of hybrid and virtual employees. The Connections Committee offers employees opportunities to build connections within the workplace through various events, fundraisers, and volunteer initiatives.

The Military Families ERG is for all employees who have served or have family members who have served or are serving in the United States military. This ERG is designed to recognize and honor veterans as well as those currently in the military. The group hosts a variety of activities to serve in the community and recognize MedPro's military families and employees.

Created to build and maintain an environment that is inclusive for all, the Multicultural Inclusion Group holds meetings focusing on a variety of topics that drive personal growth, professional development, education, and social awareness on issues surrounding diversity and inclusion. Members also volunteer in the community and work closely with MedPro's Foundations of Insurance (FOI) program as mentors.

The Pride ERG was created to ensure MedPro is a place where LGBTQ+ employees and allies feel confident they can bring their authentic selves to work. This ERG hosts meetings and events that advocate for the needs of LGBTQ+ employees and customers in the insurance space. In addition, Pride provides employees with a community by hosting social hours and educational sessions focused on advancing the LGBTQ+ community.

Devoted to personal and professional productivity and physical and mental well-being, the Wellness Committee’s mission is to promote a workplace culture that supports employees’ desire to make healthy lifestyle choices. The committee offers a variety of ways for employees to take charge of their health, including wellness content, fitness classes, and the wellness incentive program.

The Women’s Network is dedicated to creating an empowering community for women at MedPro Group. Their mission is to inspire confidence, promote professional growth, and provide resources that help women achieve their full potential. Through mentorship, networking opportunities, and events that celebrate achievements, the Women’s Network offers a supportive space for building skills.

In 2020, we launched MedPro Group’s Foundations of Insurance program with several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) around the country. This initiative is designed to introduce a diverse group of students to the insurance industry through hands-on, immersive professional experience. Our leaders personally teach courses, offer coaching, and help pave the way for professional opportunities. At course completion, students have the opportunity to visit our home office, pursue an academic scholarship, or apply for a paid internship with us.

We’re committed to doing our part. See how we put our philosophy into action:
