Employee Resource Groups
MedPro Group’s six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) provide a great way for employees to feel welcomed and to engage in a supportive, inclusive environment. At MedPro, we’re proud of the many ways we support employees in their career growth, and our ERGs are part of that commitment.
“ERGs are more than just social groups, they’re communities within MedPro. Our ERGs help create a more inclusive culture that provides opportunities for employees to connect, network,
and learn from one another.”
Randy Walker, Inclusion and Engagement Leader, MedPro Group
The Connections Committee was established during the Covid-19 pandemic to build connections amongst employees while working virtually. Since then, we have migrated back into the office while also maintaining a number of hybrid and virtual employees. The Connections Committee provides a way for employees to build connections in the workplace through a variety of events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities.
The Military Families ERG is for all employees who have served or have family members who have served or are serving in the United States military. This ERG is designed to recognize and honor veterans as well as those currently in the military. The ERG hosts a variety of activities to serve in our community and recognize our military families and employees.
The Multicultural Inclusion Group was created to build and maintain an environment that is inclusive for all. The Multicultural Inclusion Group (MIG) holds meetings focusing on a variety of topics that drive personal growth, professional development, education, and social awareness on issues surrounding diversity and inclusion. In addition to monthly meetings, the MIG members volunteer in our community and work closely with our Foundations of Insurance (FOI) program through mentoring.
The Pride ERG was created to ensure MedPro is a place where LGBTQ+ employees and allies feel confident they can bring their authentic selves to work. The Pride ERG hosts meetings and events that advocate for the needs of LGBTQ+ employees and customers in the insurance space. In addition, Pride provides employees with a community by hosting social hours and educational sessions focused on advancing the LGBTQ+ community.
The Wellness Committee is devoted to supporting employee’s personal and professional productivity and physical and mental well-being.
